I am currently employed with St Joseph’s Hospital in Tampa, Florida. I am a relative newcomer to Florida, moving here from Michigan four years ago. After teaching electronics/electrical occupations for seven years, I targeted the Biomedical field as a career path in 2002.

I became a tech at a regional Medical Center in Traverse City, Michigan specializing in OB and infusion equipment. Once in Tampa, I was employed under contract to GE Healthcare at UCH for a year before joining the team at St Joseph’s. I became involved with the Bay Area Association for Medical Instrumentation more than a year ago and was nominated and accepted the position of treasurer.
