I am currently employed with St Joseph’s Hospital North in Tampa, Florida. I am a relative newcomer to Florida, moving here from Michigan four years ago. After teaching electronics/electrical occupations for seven years, I targeted the Biomedical field as a career path in 2002.

I became a tech at a regional Medical Center in Traverse City, Michigan specializing in OB and infusion equipment. Once in Tampa, I was employed under contract to GE Healthcare at UCH for a year before joining the team at St Joseph’s. I became involved with the Bay Area Association for Medical Instrumentation some years ago and was nominated and accepted the position of treasurer for various years and recently as the Secretary (2011).
